UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) has Published a new Recruitment for Advertisement No. : 09/2020 in Various Post. More information like education qualification, vacancy details, age limit, how to apply, important date and other are given below.

Vacancy Details :

  • Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neurology): 24 Posts
  • Research Officer (Social Studies): 01 Post
  • Senior Scientific Officer (Lie-Detection): 03 Posts
  • General Duty Medical Officer (Homeopathy): 07 Posts

Education Qualification : 

(1)Specialist Grade-III Assistant Professor (Neurology):
  • MBBS Degree
  • Post-Graduate degree in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A of Schedule VI from recognized Teaching Institute i.e. Doctorate of Medicine (Neurology)
(2)Research Officer (Social Studies):
  • Master’s Degree in Anthropology (with specialization in Cultural or Social Anthropology) or Sociology from a recognized University
(3)Senior Scientific Officer (Lie-Detection):
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology or Criminology from a recognized University or equivalent*.
  • NOTE-I: *Equivalent means M.A/M. SC. in Applied Psychology or Applied Criminology
(4)General Duty Medical Officer (Homeopathy):
  • (i) Degree in Homoeopathy of a recognized University or Statutory State Board/ Council of equivalent recognized under the Homoeopathy Central Council Act, 1973 (59 of 1973).
  • (ii) Enrolment on State Register or Central Register of Homoeopathy

How Apply : 
  • Candidates must apply online through the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in. Applications received through any other mode would not be accepted and summarily rejected.
Age Limit :
  •  The age limit for the post has been given in the advertisement. For certain age concessions admissible to various categories please go through the instruction regarding Concessions & Relaxations.
Important Date :
  • Closing date for submission of online recruitment application (ORA) through ORA website is 23:59 hrs on 10/09/2020
  • The last date for printing of comoletely submitted online application is upto 23:59 hrs on 11/09/2020 
Application Fees :
  • (a) Candidates are required to pay a fee of Rs. 25/- (Rupees Twenty five) only either by remitting the money in any branch of the SBI by cash or by using net banking facility of the SBI or by using visa/master credit/debit card.
  • (b) No fee for SC/ST/PH/Women candidates of any community. No "fee exemption" is available to Gen/OBC/EWS male candidates and they are required to pay the full prescribed fee.
